Taken 3 is a free to download, mobile action game developed by Roger Games. This game will have you control a bunch of characters and engage in an action-packed fight. What's more it's playable offline. However, while it offers three modes, it is limited to single-player only.

If you are a fan of Tekken, then you will find the gameplay of Taken 3 familiar. The mechanics and controls are very much like the popular fighting game. It even features a ripoff of the character Combot. However, with its poor graphics and sometimes unresponsive controls, this seems like a downgrade. 

What can you expect from the game?

Taken 3 offers everything you expect from a fighting game. As mentioned, the whole game is clearly heavily inspired by the Tekken franchise. The mechanics entail choosing a character to control and engage in a battle. There is a damage meter for each character, and whoever meter depletes first loses. In every round, the player will fight the same opponent in two battles.

The controls are also similar, although you will play using your mobile phone. On the left are the buttons that allow you to move your character. On the right, meanwhile, are the attack buttons. Each letter corresponds to a specific attack, such as punching and kicking. However, combinations of these letters will allow you to unleash a special attack. There is a menu for this that you can access.

There are three modes available: story, versus, and training. The story mode will have you fight and control different characters in various arenas. Meanwhile, the versus mode lets you choose to play against an AI opponent or watch two AIs fight. Finally, the training mode lets you familiarize yourself with the game. However, more than the bad graphics, the game suffers from other issues, including glitching and slow loading.

Is the game good?

Overall, Taken 3 is worth a try if you are looking for a casual fighting game. The mechanics and controls are very familiar, allowing you to play without any learning curve. It also comes with three modes. However, it is far from perfect. It has poor character design, made more terrible by the glitching that often occurs. It also didn't help that every match is slow to load.
